WHAT REMAINS OF ME (Survived Boko Haram)

When 276 female students were kidnapped in the north of Nigeria, in 2014, the world suddenly became aware of the danger that Boko Haram poses. What Remains of Me is the story of a group of women and girls who survived and escaped Boko Haram’s atrocities. Filmmaker Marta Santamato Cosentino dared enter the red zones on her own and spent time with these women, giving them time to open up to her and her camera. What Remains of Me has a very intimate, close approach that gives unfiltered voice to the survivors themselves.
